Wardrobe Essentials: Wool Suits
Everybody needs a variety of different clothes in their wardrobe. Even those who don’t work in an office and are able to wear jeans and a t-shirt most of the time need to also have some less casual clothing to choose from. Meetings, parties and funerals will come up, and you don’t want to have to shop every time you receive an invitation (or maybe you do?).
Every woman needs to have at least a dress or two on hand for those dressing up occasions. Besides this, a suit is a necessary part of every wardrobe. Women can wear them for business meeting or any other time they want to look and feel collected and professional.
Wool suits are definitely the best material to go with. For both sexes, this is a must have. Of course for those who wear suits every day, you might have a number of different suits, but if you have wool suits you will probably find that they are your favorite.
Wool is a material that simply looks good in more formal wear. It has a natural feel and look and hangs nicely. There are different types of wool you can choose from when purchasing a suit.
Some wool mens’ suits are very expensive. These are usually made from a nicer type of wool that is soft but durable and has all the other qualities of wool which make it perfect for suits. Also, the top brands are always more expensive.
Worsted is a top choice for wool womens’ suits as well as men’s. It doesn’t wrinkle easily, it doesn’t have to be dry cleaned as often and it looks terrific.
Often when we think of wool we picture a warm wool sweater that keeps you warm in the cold winter months. This is not the only use for wool, though. Wool is a good temperature regulator. This means that it will keep you warm when necessary, but it is also breathable. Wool suits can be worn comfortably year round!
If you are going to buy a suit, definitely consider a wool suit first. They hold color very well and can be woven in many different patterns and styles that look great. You may want to choose a classic cut because wool is such a durable material that the suit will likely last your whole life long!
Do a little research into the different types of wool, or talk to a store hand to find out what type of wool is best for your needs. If you can afford it, a worsted wool suited specially tailored to your frame is unbeatable in style and elegance. This is true for both men and women. Be sure you have at least one wool suit in your wardrobe!
